Tony Taverna is a USPTA Level 1 tennis professional with over 25 years of teaching and coaching experience.

Tony has been ranked in New England Men's Open singles and presently competes at the 4.5 level. Tony is a USRSA Master Racquet Technician - a designation which recognizes the elite level of racquet stringing, service and knowledge. Tony personally play-tests every new racquet on-court before it becomes available to the general public. This enables him to recommend what is best suited for an individual's playing style, level and price range. New racquets are tested and scrutinized before earning a place on the Perfect Racquet wall. Tony will consider factors such as weight, balance, head size, length, frame stiffness, comfort and price before recommending a racquet for you to try or buy. In addition, Tony and his staff experiment with various string combinations to determine how to maximize the playing characteristics of each racquet. Tony brings this knowledge to his store and staff members who provide personalized selection of racquets, paddles, string, shoes, apparel and accessories.

Kathy Taverna is a recreational tennis player who has resided in Connecticut's Farmington Valley for over 20 years. Kathy brings advanced management skills to the store and uses these to successfully operate key aspects of the business. Kathy's specialty is apparel. She views numerous lines of women's, men's and children's apparel for each season before deciding which styles she will purchase for the store. In addition, Kathy oversees a very successful team apparel business. She works closely with team captains to ensure that each team gets exactly what they want. Let Kathy do the work so you can concentrate on other things. With the help of customer feedback and her knowledge, Kathy continues to carefully select new products and companies that tennis enthusiasts are sure to love.
